These poses are dynamic instruments for revitalizing the body and mind; they are each a subtle variation of classic Qigong exercises.

Transformative Power of 6 Qigong Poses



Exercise 1: Sun salutation


This exercise where we try to touch our hands behind our back gives our shoulders a much needed stretch in this day and age when many of us spend a long time looking at a computer.







Exercise 2: Spinning


When we are younger we think nothing of spinning around. It’s actually really important to generate balance and dispel negative energy. Make sure you spin in a clockwise direction.









Exercise 3: Back stretch


Although called a back stretch, leaning back trying to touch our toes stretches out the front and back of our bodies.








Exercise 4 : V-Sit Up


This stretch is found in many exercise classes and cannot be underestimated in how well it stretches out the spine.







Exercise 5: Bridge


This stretch is found in many exercise classes and cannot be underestimated in how well it stretches out the spine.






Exercise 6: Downward Dog


A traditional yoga pose that can reduce back pain and strengthen many parts of the body as well as decrease tension and anxiety and deepen respiration and enhance body-circulation.
